Jamaican Rum Punch Recipe

If you have ever visited the islands of Jamaica, more than likely you indulged in a delicious Jamaican Rum Punch.  This recipe is one of the most delicious beverages you will ever taste so feel free to enjoy them year round with this recipe.

INGREDIENTS
6 cups pineapple juice
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 Fifth Rum - Preferably Appleton.  However, Appleton Rum tends to be difficult to find in the US so Meyers Rum is  a good option.
7-Up or Sprite

DIRECTIONS
Heat pineapple juice and sugar till sugar dissolves. Cool. Mix rest of ingredients except 7-Up and put in freezer over night. To serve, put 1/2 frozen mixture and 1/2 7-Up in glass.
