Hey guys, here is a easy recipe on how to make simple Jamaican style Curry chicken. It’s a Jamaican style dish, with my own little twist to it. I Hope you guys enjoy!

2Tbs Olive oil
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Chef Paul’s Poultry seasoning
Thyme (few sprigs)
1/2 tsp Ginger paste
1 tsp Garlic
1/2 tsp Badia all purpose seasoning
1 tsp tomato paste
3-4 stalks Green onion
1/2 Red onion chopped
2 Potatoes chopped
3 to 4 Cup chicken broth or Water
3-4 Ibs Chicken

1.5 Tbs McCormick Curry Powder
1.5 Tbs JCS Jamaican Curry Powder
(Depending on the amount of chicken your cooking- just Add enough Curry Powder to Coat the Chicken, but not too much)

Make adjustments on measurements as needed or to your desired preference.

1). Prep the chicken by cleaning it and removing the skin.
2). In a big bowl add your chicken and season the meat. If you don’t have JCS Curry Powder, you can use only McCormick Curry Powder.
3). Add the veggies. Mix everything together and marinate overnight, or at least 30 minutes
4). On medium-high heat, add olive oil to a pan.
5). Once oil is hot, add a dash or 2 of Curry Powder. Stir the curry into the oil for 2-4 minutes.
6). Add chicken and start to brown on each side.
7). Add the veggies, chicken broth or water to pot and Stir.
8). Let liquid come to a boil, add lid to pot, and lower the heat to medium heat.
9). Let the chicken simmer for at least 1 Hour (Check the liquid throughout cooking time, add more water if needed.)
Tip: If you feel your gravy needs a little bit more flavor- a dash or two of Badia complete seasoning will do the trick.
10). Add tomato paste, potatoes and stir. Cook an additional 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. (Don’t overcook the Potatoes.)
11). Serve with white rice or rice and peas. Enjoy!
